Who Erzulie Freda Is Erzulie Freda Dahomey - Ezili Freda - is the lwa of love, beauty, luxury and femininity. Her full name carries her origin in the old kingdom of Dahomey, in what is now Benin. She is served in the Rada rite, and she is the spirit of refinement, flirtation, jewelry, perfume, flowers and dancing. She is a great power as a lover, and she is also known for her jealousy and her unpredictable nature. She is not a gentle spirit; she is a passionate one.She wears three wedding rings, one for each of her husbands - Damballa, Agwe and Ogou. Her colors are pink, blue, white and gold. She is offered jewelry, perfume, sweet cakes and liqueurs, and she is syncretized with Mater Dolorosa, Our Lady of Sorrows. She and Erzulie Dantor are often considered sisters.
