Bring a touch of the wild — and a story of craftsmanship — to your home with this rustic handmade metal jungle wall panel. Created by Haitian artist Julio Balan, this whimsical scene features a lion, giraffe, zebra, and jaguar, each carefully hand-cut and shaped from recycled red steel barrels.
The artist flattens the sides of the barrels to create the panel, leaving subtle hints of the original red paint that give the sculpture its weathered, rustic character. Each piece is slightly unique, showcasing the natural patina and hand-tooled texture of the metal.
At 70 inches wide by 17 inches tall, this artwork makes a stunning focal point above a doorway, sofa, or entryway. The combination of playful animal design and aged industrial metal gives it both whimsical charm and rustic elegance.
Each panel is made under Fair Trade Federation standards, continuing a partnership of more than 25 years supporting Haitian artisans.
